About
For my Ph.D. thesis, I investigated redundant computations that arise from the structured use of polymorphism, in particular as it is used in object-oriented design patterns.
In broad terms, I am interested in languages (both natural and artificial) -- specifically approaches to, and limitations of expression and translation.
My interests in expression, comprehension, and learning also extend to a general interest in science, the scientific process, and applications of computing to scientific inquiry. In addition, I maintain a keen interest in curricular policy, curricular design and instructional techniques in the field of Computer Science Education.
