About
Graduate of the University of Victoria in Economics (B.A.) and Public Policy and Administration (M.P.A.), and a Ph.D. Candidate (ABD) in Public Policy. My dissertation research has focussed on the knowledge / decision interface in public policy, and on the use of new information and communications technologies (especially emerging Web2.0 platforms) in support of traditional policy analysis and policy briefing functions.
As the Principal Associate with eBriefings.ca (a division of Whitehall Policy Consulting Inc.), I have adapted my doctoral work to the application of Web 2.0 strategies to a number of policy-making settings, and I am leading their approach to enhancing government policy analysis and communication using the latest technology.
I have over fifteen years as an academic, consultant and civil servant, and have lectured at the university level and led professional workshops across a number of policy domains.
